Director John De los Santos has conceived Flesh & Stone, an evening of three staged song cycles that explore the themes of love, music and sculpture. The rarely performed gems of Faust et Hélène by Lily Boulanger and L'heure espagnole by Maurice Ravel are brought together for an unforgettable evening of entertainment and music. Staged by renowned director John De los Santos, with Musical Direction by international conductor Kamal Khan, this is a double bill like no other. Victor sings the role of the doomed lover Faust, followed by a comic turn as the playful Gonzalve. Opera News writes "Tenor Victor Khodadad gave a dramatic performance as Faust, convincingly illustrating his intense ardor for Hélène. ... New Camerata’s production allowed the three singers from the Boulanger to show their versatility by appearing again in primary roles....Khodadad gave a comic portrayal of the pretentious, solipsistic lover Gonsalve".

Victor will be singing the role of William in Kamala Sankaram’s one-act opera The Infinite Energy of Ada Lovelace directed by Jennifer Willams, with Nell Flanders as Musical Director. Zarzuela returns to New York City at TEATRO LATEA on New York City's Lower East Side! This new production will feature a chamber orchestra arrangement by Music Director Pablo Zinger. Zinger, heralded as the “King of Zarzuela” by Opera News, has collaborated in concert with renowned performers all over the world and has established himself in New York and abroad in his 40-year career as an authority on and advocate for zarzuela. Award-winning director, Rod Gomez, (National Opera Association Prize, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Bronx Opera) will direct. Victor sings the role of Lopez in this rollicking farce that includes melodies both familiar and lesser known, but that go straight to the heart!

​Victor will be performing the role of The Male Chorus in Benjamin Britten's masterpiece The Rape of Lucretia presented by New Camerata Opera. This rendering of the tragic story will confront the harsh reality of a woman’s experience with rape, suppression, and being silenced by men and religious culture. Deaf actors will be employed to give voice to the victim.

First produced in 2008 at The Montalvo Arts Center in California, DIVIDE LIGHT is currently being re-conceived for performances in Spring 2018. This new iteration of DIVIDE LIGHT is designed to feature the collaborative operatic ensemble New Camerata Opera, a bold new force in the New York opera scene. Victor will be performing in the fall 2017 New Camerata Opera Main Stage production of "Triskaidekaphila". An evening of opera-horror at Brooklyn’s hottest night club. New Camerata Opera presents Menotti’s The Medium, a twisted, suspenseful ghost-story followed by a cabaret and spectacle in a show that celebrates the macabre and freaky side of classical music at the hottest nightclub in Bushwick, House of Yes, in collaboration with Music Director Whitney George and The Curiosity Cabinet. Victor returns to Light Opera of New York in the role of Cacatois in Offenbach's delightful one act operetta The Island of Tulipatan. Performance dates are May 19 and 20, 2017. Victor reprises the role of Goro in Madama Butterfly with Gulfshore Opera conducted by Metropolitan Opera conductor Paul Nadler on March 31 and April 2, 2017.
